Dr. Humera Chowdhary is a psychiatrist with board certifications in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. She has been a dedicated provider of mental health care in North Texas since 2007 and relocated her practice to serve the greater Dallas area, opening a new office in May 2013. We are proud to bring excellent mental health services to the Frisco area.

With a strong focus on early childhood development, Dr. Chowdhary specializes in helping children and adolescents build resilience and address traumatic or disturbing early life experiences. Her approach is rooted in compassion and a commitment to providing personalized, high-quality care that supports both the mental health and overall well-being of her young patients and their families.

Dr. Chowdhary completed her psychiatric residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry through UT Southwestern and Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. Her exceptional skills and dedication were recognized with the Best Teaching Resident Award during her training.

In addition to her professional achievements, Dr. Chowdhary is a loving mother of four and enjoys spending her free time traveling, cooking, and gardening. She believes in a balanced and fulfilling life, which she aims to promote through her practice.
